I was in Dubai for a mere four days, but I will never forget those four days.
I’ll admit I was an epitome of a stereotypical tourist, but in all honestly, sometimes you just have to be one. I went to Dubai from India after visiting all my family and I continued from Mumbai to Dubai with my brother, parents, my two cousins and my aunt and uncle. So there were quite a few of us hustling and bustling through the sky scraping architecture to the sand storming deserts.
This was the first time I’d seen my cousins after a very long time so it really was a family affair, and what’s a family holiday without embarrassing stories of you as a child and the occasional bickering.
We went from a cruise of the skyline to Ferrari World. From witnessing the beauty of a stunning mosque to jumping out of a plane from 15,000ft over the Palm Island. From a desert Safari to smoking a Shisha at sunset. From a man made beach to the tallest building in the world. From dancing fountains to an aquarium in the biggest shopping mall in the world. Dubai had it all.
It really is a stunning place filled with old and new traditions. But the charm of this city is that it is forever changing, by that I mean within the next ten years I can guarantee that the skyline would look completely different to my photo.
Hope you guys enjoy and let me know in the comments about your time here or if you ever plan on going here, would love to hear.
